A concert exploring gamelan as an orchestral organism through contemporary composition, featuring works that challenge the instrument's traditional ensemble logic. Curated by Ivan Liuzzo, the evening presents solo and small ensemble pieces that highlight individual voices and isolated timbres.
The concert follows the daytime Gamelan Community Gathering (dedicated to traditional Balinese music) at Sommercasino Basel.
