EXPLICIT - Queer Dance Party

EXPLICIT is a sex-positive queer dance party and counter-protest to queer censorship. It takes place at Kauz in Zürich (8005). The party is co-hosted with friends from Kauz and is a safer space for adults of all ages, genders, sexualities and fetishes. The event is founded on three key values: RESPECT, TOLERANCE, CONSENT. Racism, body shaming, transphobia or sexism are not tolerated. No photography allowed – the organisers do photoshoots so guests don’t have to.

This is a recurring series with multiple dates. Specific occurrence dates are shown separately in the app.

Lineup and DJs are announced on the organisers’ social media platforms. For the Street Parade Edition, the lineup includes: Deepfloor, Scheppert, Liad, Krispin, Fast floor, HAUSVRAU, ONX. That edition starts one hour later than usual and runs later, with closing time adjusted accordingly.

All ticket holders are briefed on the awareness concept at the door. Entry can be denied (ticket refunded) or guests can be removed if they do not follow the awareness concept. The Street Parade Edition has increased pricing due to higher staff costs; other editions revert to normal pricing.
