New Orleans meets Balkan Brass by MollTon. The band interprets well-known songs in their own, lively way, calling it "mollTonized". Their sound is an energetic mix of New Orleans and Balkan Brass with excursions into pop music. Two trumpets, a trombone, a tenor sax, and a tuba are arranged around a cocktail drum kit, ready for joyful and passionate music-making. Improvisation and spontaneity are central elements of their concerts. MollTon presents well-known and lesser-known pieces powerfully in a new guise.
