The History of Winegrowing on Lake Zurich – Guided Tour

A guided tour through the Weinbaumuseum am Zürichsee and its vineyard, tracing the history of viticulture in the Lake Zurich region. The tour shows how the landscape once looked more like Lavaux, with vineyards shaping the lakeshore. Participants taste a historical Räuschling followed by a contemporary Räuschling for comparison.

The Weinbaumuseum am Zürichsee is located on Halbinsel Au by the lake of Zurich, easily reached by train (Au ZH) or by boat (Halbinsel Au).
